The way I am: Sick.
:/
I’m sick. And my body, being smart, choose to be sick on spring break. Ick.
I also have homework I am putting off from spring break, because I’m sick.
Hopefully , I’ll be better soon. Meanwhile, I’m actually going to link to a video. Here’s some stuff to do, if, you too are bored… on break.
Why TV is not fun.
So, I just got a nifty tuner card for my computer. What’s that? It lets me watch TV on my computer, and record it.
And, I timed all commercials. Too many commercials. 10 min of commercials per 30 min. 22 min per 1hr.
In about two hours, you’ve spent more than 3/4 of a hour watching commercials. That’s no fun.
Indeed.
Snow day weekend.
Be back on wednesday. Totally, during the week too.
Also, might start including more photos/videos/audios.
In due time.
Thanks.
You made it here. Thanks.
Why I moved? Vox sort of, well, wasn’t cutting it for me. So, here we are.
GYTO directs here, and vox has a post describing what just happened.
See you in a bit.
The Way I See It: Stuff.
So, I’m writing notes for history. And I end up with:
- Turn to horses! Better attachment = no choking to death.
Well, jeepers, that’s depressing. But, taking notes like that help me to remember the giant passage in the book talking about how horse harnesses developed in these different areas. How useful. I didn’t know that the breast shaped harness was prefered in south europe, with appeal around 500 C.E! Wow!
And yet, meh. School is turning to mush before my eyes. It seems like learning has taking a turn to ‘preparing us for the future,’ and away from the neat “how stuff happens. “Possibly why I am doing well in science (a how course), and not well in history (a why and how course), darn my intrests.) I mean, I take all normal freshman classes (plus french), and every single class I have is currently doing stuff that is, well, either review, or simply repetivite.
And history is the exception to that rule.
Atleast this week. Who knows what will happen tommrow?
I try to keep a positive attitude towards, well, everything I can. I’d say I work hard enough for someone who wants to to to school, and have a life. I keep this positive attitude by setting goals for stuff I know I can do. This helps me get through the day. Don’t make yourself do something you don’t want to do (unless it is homework, or a test), move away from it, or simply ignore it. Find stuff you like, stick with that. I tried to experement in some other subjects over my two years at this school. I found stuff that I don’t like. I don’t take them. All better. So, please, if you truely don’t want to do something, please just don’t do it (unless you actually have to do it, i.e most of the courses at school.)
The Way I See It: The 6:30.
title wise: I sort of wanted to sneak this in, and wanted to follow a theme, and anyway, what can’t you think about after school ends?Exam review week is coming to a close, and exams are starting up very soon. Am I worried? Not as much as most people, but worried enough. My experience with exams comes from… the isee I had to take before going to school, and the “really hard, but not exam” tests of my time before high school.
That’s not so good. Am I under/over preparing? I don’t think so. (Though, I am disregarding to study for one subject, take a guess.)
So, that’s my exam worries, but onto more pressing matters. Like, uh, … darn. My life otherwise has really gone down the tube. Swimming ’s kay, but not really making me excited for it.
I got a french press, and can make coffee at home, and loose tea, and I returned to my love of Honest Tea (whose offices are near where I used to live!). My desk is a mess, and I got a new laptop.
Oh, and I guess, my backack has grown 2 more pounds heavier this week. I hate that.
The Way I See It: Cak? No, Party!
Ah, inside jokes.
What fun.
Anyhow, onto the matter at hand. It’s 8:23 at night, I’m tired, and I just came from a partay.
How was it? More fun than you can shake a stick at.
I had many:
- Rolls
- Salads
- Pizza
- Cak(e)
- Water
- Jokes.
Are partays fun? No, not really. Well, when they are planned to death, they are bad.
Was this partay fun? Yes, yes really.I sat at the “loner” table. Everyone there knows what I mean.
Y’know, that table in the middle where no one actually sits, because they are afraid of being in the middle? Sit there! Be different!
That’s what ended up happing to me. And it was awsome. We were the closest to the food, we had the most fun, and I ate more than a normal amount of icing.
More than 10 people asked me for a shout out. I’ll have a list out on the first floor, sign it, add a quote, be a winner. I’ll cycle around floors untill thursday (except for the third floor)
Then, I’ll read it friday afternoon.
Cak all the way!
The Way I See It: Thanks for the Giving.
Thanksgiving break is getting me back into positive moods, and restoring my amount of lost sleep from school.
The Way I See It: Schedules
I wake up. It’s 6:25AM. I get dressed, go downstairs, eat, watch some news, then get on the bus.
